Samsung in cooperation with three leading Chinese mobile operators announced the start of the sales of its Android smartphone Samsung Galaxy S. The device will be available in three versions – with the support of varios 3G networks: the version with CDMA2000 (model SCH-I909) networks support will be available via China Telecom, the version with TD-SCDMA (model GT-I9008) – via China mobile, and finally, the version with WCDMA (model GT-I9088) networks – via China Unicom.
Moreover, the version of the handset for China Telecom supports both CDMA and GSM networks; and the version for China mobile supports the Chinese mobile TV standard CMMB and runs Ophone 2.0 OS.
